Genny Error Message FL Studio

Hi all,
So I recently reinstalled FL Studio 20.8, and after attempting to reinstall Genny, the VST version keeps giving me issues. FL seems to be unable to properly install the VST, and instead spits the usual simple "Error" message without telling me what went wrong. Does anyone know what the issue is? I've heard that a friend had this issue once but besides that I've found nothing on the topic.
