MIDI channels not working in Cubase

I'm having issues with the channels working in Cubase. Right now, everything is forcing through channel 1 on the plugin no matter what channel I'm sending from in Cubase using MIDI tracks.
I'm also getting some hard crashes when I create new instruments in Genny when the VSTi is racked.
